It's the 2010 Summary! You know what that means: It's time for me to make fun of my art from the past year! GET YERSELF READY
January. looks so bad to me now. That was once my best piece. But the jawline looks all wrong, and you should see the posing. Awkward.
February. I still like it, but I have so many problems with this one. Thomas's arms are too thick, and the wings are all blah. The fire (not visible) is terrible too.
March. Emo month. Although, I did make a pretty awesome jump for backgrounds. Eww just look at that poor hand.
April. Besides the page being all weird and dark right around him, the color scheme is all funky. Reds, oranges, and greens. Why did I do that?
May. First real work in digital coloring. Not too bad, but it was really flat and lacking life and texture to it.
June. Still really proud of this one. Although, I need to stop having people use this one for a reference. Shadow's hair normally doesn't have the red in it, and because of this one picture everyone seems to think it's always there.
July. So much could've gone wrong with this, and it didn't. Still mad that I didn't do a lot with the clothes. They seem a bit flat to me
August. The mello is a bit off. Nobody really notices, but it still bothers me because I notice.
September. LINED PAAAAAAAAPPPPPEEEEEERRRRRRRRRRRR! >:I
October. Wow I didn't do much. This was one of only 3 pieces that month. It's because band took up my life. I hate the way I do ears. I think I realized it here. Hands suck too.
November. LINED PAAAAAAAAAPPPPPPPEEEEEERRRRRRRRRRR! WHY DO I DO THIS TO MYSELF!?!?
December. I tried to bring everything I've learned this year into one work. I'm really proud of how this last one ended up. I think I always will.
It's been a great year, full of improvement. I can't wait to see the kinds of things I come up with in 2011.
