lol i like to use it as a space heater, but i do a lot of video stuff and i serve my neighbors(back up) ..im a nerd

yeah, i have 4 that don't even get turned on, ill need em later though, it pulls almost 2000 watts when its all on(the whole box), it is ten separate computers and a 24 port gigabit switch

naw plus i got a two fire extinguishers in here and it has its own breaker..it dose get hot though, that why it has three power supply's for the fans, if the fans go out the computers will melt lol

then i guess if it sets on fire that means it should be complimented because, "It has THAT much power"

constantly running? or just now and then it will go into stand by, or something, maby you should have not 1 fire etinguisher, not 2 fire extinguishers, no no...but THREE fire extinguishers, one is at hand at all time, the second is bolted to the tower, the other is in the room where the tower is located, so when the tower sets on fire, it takes out the extinguisher, meaning it will probably set the rest of your hous on fire, BUT WAIT!... you still have a third extinguisher to hopefull save your house, AND the other two extinguishers ( or atleast one of them) that way you could like... dual-weild fire extiguishers and go Rambo Akimbo on it. ^w^

its not on 24 seven..lol and its in my bed room where i spend alot of time so i can monitor it so two is more than enough

lol yeah i have built a new one since then that one had thermal issues at the top the new one is like a wind tunnel wood isnt the best medium for a server rack but it is very mobile ..

ive rebuilt it since then its bigger and had a dedicated 48v fan system and a back up 12v system that comes on when the box reaches 100deg F and the whole box only pulls about 3000w when its (ALL) on i normally only have Cerberus and Fenris on they only use about 450 watts soo it don't get all that hot

I did use it for folding at home, using the itanium servers in there, that one was actually the prototype, the second generation one is bigger lol has a dedicated computer for hd playback its really overkill, but overkill is underrated right?

yes very real and very heavy...Over kill is over rated my bunny friend ....um thats the old one BTW the new one is bigger and more ....friendly to work with( it has big rollie wheels lol)
