This is my main reference whenever I ask for anything of Cortez! This was a request-turned-commission by j_gassler on Twitter! The sword is a bit more serrated than normal, but it serves its purpose well! He definitely carries himself like a true warrior here, ready to lay waste to whoever is in his path. Also helps visualize my skin tone for him, a bit of a 'Spanish Tan' as it's called.

I do wish I could edit the comic to have him barefoot in it from the get-go... alas, my current thought is that he lost his shoes as part of a bet~
