With a performance on the line, the unlucky (or lucky) deer was quickly casted for the lead song roll in the absence of a beautiful voice. The previous singer not showing up at all and with a call with a less than pleaseant cold on the other end lead Laurence to be volunteered to this moment. The dress a little akward as they dressed him closely to the role as possible, being fitted for his larger build. Confiscating his royal garmnents from him as they hand him the microphone with a "the show must go on" one-liner. He wasn't pleased to be pushed into the roll initially, but once the music started he let the crowd melt away along with his nerves as he sang his heart out. Little did most know, Laurence was a man of many talents and when on night patrol of his kingdom he would ocassionally sing when in areas of youth. His songs being remembered among parents and children alike for their soothing tunes and rhyme.
