A fancy metaphor about the human condition?
Nope, it's actually just post-Transformation.
That phone call seems important. Will our lovely new un-extinct predatory marsupial figure out how to use that phone in time to answer it? And if they do, will they even be able to understand what's being said?
Thylacines are cool, but terrible to draw because they go against all the instinct and muscle memory I've developed learning to draw foxes and coyotes and every other modern mammal! So I had to heavily lean on references here for this one. Anyway this is
Dott_Bandey's fault

Well unless this condition is contagious they're going to be an extinct species again before too long ;)
"And if they do, will they even be able to understand what's being said?" - even if they do I suspect that's going to be a confusing 'conversation' in general! And now I'm curious what Thylacines actually sounded like.
Seriously it was worth the effort, the glasses and watch are an especially nice touch!
