And yes, I did give this one a Bo Staff. Why? I felt units who solely use staves need a way to defend themselves better.

Biography: Sayuri is one of the many 1/2 mermaids born to Junichiro & Palutena. Part of the 4th line of 1/2 mermaids, she was born a week in between Sommer & Teruko. Like many of her siblings, she hung around whenever her father came back with stories to tell of his own adventures across other universes. His tales of his visits to Hoshido inspired Sayuri to take up being a class that befits the aforementioned land. However, it turned out that some of them, like the Samurai, Spearfighter, and even the Archer to name a few, were not well-suited for Sayuri. To that end, she learned of the Shrine Maiden class & decided to take up lessons in that field instead. And fortunately, this proved a much better fit for Sayuri & she trained with her other sisters who took up being mikos themselves. Once Sayuri had finished her training, she became eligible to travel & went with her Fire Emblem themed sisters (Except Eurydice who initially stayed at home) into the aforementioned universe & was enlisted into the Gaia Army as one of its primary healers for those injured. However, while doing her duties without fail, the castle came under attack from the Supreme Forces. As she was not much of a combat unit, Sayuri was among the first to flee the castle with her other sisters who're solely healers. While the rest of her family survived & were forced to retreat, it didn't change the fact that the castle was taken in the end. However, once the Gaia Alliance was proposed as the new army to fight the Supreme Forces & take Gaia back, Sayuri was quick to pledge her support for said Alliance & vowed not just to fight until light shined on Gaia once more, but also whenever she is asked to lend her support as needed. Sayuri is best described as being a gentle soul like a good number of others in Juni's family, but majorly gets her gentle nature from her mother Palutena. As a result, she can be shy at times, and is a bit of a pacifist; not wanting to use violence as a means of settling disputes. She does however, understand that sometimes it's necessary if there's no other way around a problem. She loves Potato Mochi & tends to eat it as often as possible when the chance to arises. Being a pacifist however, she dislikes being dragged into pointless fights. The best at cooking Cellophane Noodles.
Abilities: Being 1/2 Mermaid, Sayuri can take on her mermaid form at any point she enters the water. Of course she, like her siblings, prefers the water to be fresh, or seawater. Also, she would prefer it to be free of pollutants at all times. In the water, Sayuri enjoys the increase to her dodge/avoid, and double movement her other 1/2 mermaid siblings enjoy whilst submerged in the water. Sayuri starts the party as a Shrine Maiden. A Hoshidan aligned class, Sayuri has the issue of being restricted to rods & staves to heal her allies as needed. However, in addition to high magic, her defense & resistance have good growth rates, so she is quite sturdy. She also has amazing skill, speed, and luck. Her strength is the only stat that is average, but is capable of catching up as needed. As far as promotions are concerned, Sayuri can promote into a Hoshidan Priestess, which gives her access to Yumis & Bows in addition to retaining access to rods & staves. This will help her strength grow some. To become more magically potent, Sayuri may also choose to become an Onmyoji; which is essentially a Hoshidan version of the Sage class. She is known to be talented in bojutsu & can use certain staves to defend herself without sacrificing her other rods & staves just to counter attack foes. She starts with the following rods, staves, and skills.
Bloom Festal: Restores some HP to a nearby ally. Has 20 charges.
Sun Festal: Restores a lot of HP to a nearby ally. Has 15 charges.
Bo Staff: A sturdy staff designed for fighting. Has a good amount of might to be a good defensive weapons. It can be used 45 times before breaking.
Ofuda Sealer: Sayuri's personal skill. This Combat Art involves throwing an ofuda at a target within a 3 to 6 square radius & inflicting a random debuff on the target. Sometimes the debuff may be strength & defense -3, or even skill & speed -3 to name a few. On monster units however, the ofuda's effects are doubled & they even lose HP the longer the ofuda remains on those units.
Miracle: If HP > 1, survive a lethal attack with 1 HP remaining. Trigger % = (Lck stat)
