Grom has experimented and messed around with many test specimens of all different species. But he always goes back to his favorite, a female deku toad who was already on the larger side compared to her species and made even larger with Grom's magic. She has always seen him as her loving male counterpart and allows him to do whatever he pleases, usually enjoying it quite a bit.

Sometimes, like now, Grom will simply look to make her happy, even if there is little to no research value.
