I've been... doing good lately. Great, even. I feel like I'm on a roll.
For the first time in a long, long while, I feel like everything will be okay, as in the future looks bright, and I'm proud to say that I'm doing well.
Since the last time I reached a hundred-page milestone and the last one behind that, I've been on a roller coaster of a journey to better improve my mental health. It's been hard, but I have to thank everyone over on my discord server for supporting my art for so long since then.
I've had issues with self-confidence all my life, and having it leak into my art was inevitable. I've been so hard on myself, punching myself over and over for not improving at the pace I want to, and setting unrealistic goals for myself when in reality, I should have been focusing on enjoying the journey of recovery instead of only looking at the top of the mountain.
When you only look at what you want, you don't see what the road to it looks like, thus, prompting you to fall off the bridge and die.
You get it.
I'm so, so grateful for the support I've gotten ever since this arc started, and I'm well-aware of the oddity of it existing, but nonetheless, I am now well enough to say that it's been a wonderful time.
