Fang was a reconstructed fossil Jumba brought back to life. Jumba wanted the best of the best, the American lion was bigger than the already living African lion, and was even more powerful. Fang has no knowledge of Sasha’s relation, or her existence as his daughter. When she shows up to meet him, he has no idea who she is or why she’s on his territory. After some talking, he takes her out on a hunt only to find she doesn’t know how. Fang teaches her “how to be a real wildcat” and all her instinctual stuff.

Not completely satisfied with his makeover, but he looks fine for now.
