Avila the Quaxly idolising Koraidon's looks, speed and battle prowess in his youth. :D My friend  magshi asked me whether I planned to draw Koraidon at some point, and here they are. :3

Part of Avila's character is that he has a tendency to compare himself to others when he is growing up (also part of his development in accepting himself as a boy as he comes to terms to his own strengths and appearance 🏳️‍⚧️ ❤️ ) So while comparing himself to Koraidon and many of his other male team mates made him question his identity, he comes to terms with his own strengths and appearance as he grows and that he's a perfectly fine guy in his way. 😊 Avila is also very theatrical and loves organising plays and musicals, and Koraidon's feathers was something that inspires him to grow out his feathers in a specific way. 😄 I can imagine Avila also going for a run alongside Koraidon for a race, and Avila also has a huge love of reading about Don Quixote and often goes on 'chivalrous quests' to search for treasure and vanquish evil. 😄

When I draw my other Pokemon Scarlet team members, I'll be including their backstories and more ideas too. 😊As for Avila, I talked to some friends and family members, and they told me that for my first transgender Pokemon character, they said I've handled it well which means a lot. 😊
