I made this using a neat little free program called sculptris. its grate feels so much like working with real clay, you only have to make 1/2 the image as the program sculpts the mirror image to what you are making. its so easy to use. every one should give it a try.

it lets you add color as well, but this model is to complex for my computer to render it ready for color. I'll try cutting it up and coloring in small pieces see if that works.
