Finally got around to reading this and I wish I'd read it sooner. I'll send you a note with whatever commentary I can think of if I ever get back to my mind, but for now I can't really think clearly.
One thing I'd like to address, though... and sorry if I'm just crazy, but the info says:
"No good deed goes unforgotten no matter how long it may have been in the past".
No good deed goes unforgotten would be the opposite of this story's message, which would be that no good deed goes forgotten. I'm very glad I read this, but I expected something very cynical and bitter with a description like that, which made this seem like a very enticing read for me. I'm surprised to say I'm actually glad I was wrong, because it was very well done.
