Cosplay DiD Molly McGee as Captain Marvel Carol Danvers
This is for
tohoscopeda20 's 3rd Annual Drew's House of Horrors which a list of Waifu List was supplied to be the stars of this jam tied up. I wish I could have joined , but circumstances worked against me.
Molly McGee is the titular main protagonist of The Ghost and Molly McGee. She is a Thai-American girl who became friends with a grumpy ghost named Scratch, who after a curse he tries to put on her backfires, ends up cursed forever by Molly's presence.
Molly and her family relocate to Brighton, a sleepy little town. Molly has spent her life travelling throughout the country and has never had time to develop friends, so when she comes across a ghost named Scratch who is chained to her house by an impenetrable curse, she immediately names him as her best friend. Molly is afraid of stifling everyone around her, of being labeled as an outcast who will be shunned by anyone she attempts to connect with. She has previously failed to build meaningful ties with individuals.
Molly is an optimistic Thai-American girl, who lives to make the world a better place. She loves to give hugs and owns up quickly and tries to fix her mistakes, and is very imaginative. She is also energetic and caring to her friends.
However, despite her caring nature, Molly can be sometimes selfish and pushy such as in "mazel Tov, Libby!" where she transformed Libby's Bat Mitzvah into a blowout party and forcing her to "come out of her shell," instead of respecting her friend's wishes and boundaries.
At times like "Scratch the Surface," she can also get restless and overthink easily, making her prone to lying.
She shows a sense of na star ivety in "Scratch the Surface" as well, still believing that wizards and unicorns are real despite already being a tween.
Although generally gregarious, Molly does have some degree of savagery, mostly applied on bratty people namely Andrea Davenport, such as when Andrea stole her show in "Hooray for Mollywood!".
In "Saving Christmas," after failing to change the stubbornness of Mr Davenport, Molly descended into a depression, losing her care for Christmas. This proves that Molly's optimism can be broken.
Captain Marvel (real name Carol Susan Jane Danvers, and Kree name Car-Ell), previously known as Ms. Marvel, is a fictional character and super heroine from the Marvel comics and universe, appearing as the main protagonist of the titular comics, and a major character in The Avengers and A-Foce comics.
She is a human and Kree hybrid who became a pilot for the United States Air Force, and became a superheroine after unlocking her powers from the Psyche-Magnitron. During her heroic career, she has donned the nicknames Binary and Warbird, and she later became a member of the Avengers and prominent ally of the X-Men.
Carol Danvers was the oldest child and only daughter of her family, Carol finally decided to defy the sexist views of her father and join the Air Force after graduating high school. Reaching the top of her class, Carol was named the head of the Cape Cod division of NASA, where she met and befriended the Kree superhero Captain Mar-Vel. Eventually, Carol was captured by Mar-Vell's nemesis, Colonel Yon-Rogg, who intended on using her as bait to lure the space born hero to his doom.
During the fight, Carol was exposed to the energies of a Kree Psyche-Megatron, which was a sort of alien Cosmic Cube, turning thought into reality and giving all the power of a Kree warrior. Developing a split personality as a result, Carol became the superhero, Ms. Marvel, wearing a feminized version of Mar-Vell's red and dark blue uniform, and fighting crime. Eventually, the Ms. Marvel personality was destroyed, leaving Carol with the Ms. Marvel powers.
After a brief membership in the Avengers, Carol lost her powers to a then-evil Rogue, and replaced them with energy based abilities, going by the name, Binary. During the House of M event, Carol regained her original Ms. Marvel powers, and has taken up the name once more. After the war with the X-Men and the Phoenix Force, Carol would take on the mantle of Captain Marvel, honoring her mentor's legacy.
When the Phoenix Force was heading towards Earth, Danvers was tasked with stopping the entity at all cost, and reunited with a resurrected Mar-Vell. Danvers would learn that Mar-Vell and the Kree were brainwashed by the Phoenix Force into believing that it would bring them salvation, but Vision managed to release Mar-Vell from the illusion before the force made it closer to Earth. Mar-Vell then sacrificed himself to save Hala, which caused the Phoenix Force to depart from Earth. After stopping the entity, Carol decided to take on the mantle of Captain Marvel, honoring her mentor's legacy. Carol would briefly join the Guardians of the Galaxy, but would return to Earth and started a romantic relationship with War Machine.
