The witch gives a soft, satisfied smile as she admires the results of her long-practiced handiwork, gazing at the small cascade of beautifully formed flowers around her as they hover in the air before her and glow ever so faintly with the residual magic that she's still pouring into them even now. Such lovely looking magnolias and violets, flitting and dancing about in midair as she exerts her power to subtly direct and control their motions with the simple flick of a finger... They were only temporary, of course, and would simply fade back into the nothingness she had initially conjured them out of the moment she stopped concentrating on maintaining the spell. Even so, the witch couldn't help but feel a surge of pride and confidence at being able to accomplish what felt like a very momentous achievement well up from within her chest, this was surely a sizable step in the right direction. With enough practice, experimentation, and honing her magical prowess, surely she could grow ever more closer to being able to truly learn and unlock the potential of her natural talent...

Though with that in mind... Now she couldn't help but be curious as to what else she might be capable of with this kind of power, but there would be more than plenty of opportunities to be able to really explore and expand on this further. She had more or less all of the time in the world for it and then some, figuratively and literally...

A super gorgeous and lovely-looking YCH piece that I got a bit more recently featuring my beloved woodland witch-hermit deer(?) being Senna showing off some more of what she can do with her magic by summoning some pretty flowers! Been feeling like showing her some more love as of lately, and this seemed like such a perfect piece to be able to get with her in mind! I like to think that this is a scene that takes place from when she was still really learning and exploring more about what she's capable of as a being who's naturally talented at magic, from well before she really started to become a literal and figurative force of nature. After all, even those who are born with the supernatural energies flowing in their veins still have to grasp the basics first and expand their knowledge from there as they explore and experiment with what such power can do before really starting to learn how to master and command it as they desire. This may be one small step for Senna down a long road of being able to truly grasp the capabilities of her power and become a super skilled wielder, but for her it's still a very big thing to be able to accomplish in the grand scheme of things!
That being said, though, this is just such an amazing looking art piece and I couldn't be happier with how this came out! The painterly style really works so well and adds on to that magical, mystical, and mysterious kind of vibe that really fits Senna's character! I just really adore how beautifully done the shading, texturing, and rendering work here is, especially for Senna's fur, horns, and clothes as well as the realistic-looking detailing on all of the flowers around her... And the added glow effects around the flowers themselves and on her runic tattoo are just so lovely too... This kind of atmosphere and style feels like it just really fits Senna so well and the artist did such an awesome job overall, I'm really just beyond happy with how wonderfully this came out~ <33

Also a quick little fun fact, in flower language magnolias mean 'love of nature', and violets are a symbol of modesty and watchfulness, which I felt really fit Senna and her character pretty much perfectly and why I chose those flowers specifically for this!
