I had a few hours to kill today and this was the result.
Unfinished, loosely based on several ideas I had from before that involve the Danger Room going haywire, or being turned against Beast by someone behind the scenes.

That's a likely explanation for WatX, although what I had in mind was brainwashed Morph turning up the dial in the Danger Room, but subconsciously not wanting to actually hurt his friend, so he makes sure that the danger in non-lethal. I just haven't written out any thought or speech bubbles to make it clear.
I rewatched X:TAS at least once, while I can't say the same for WatX, even through it was my introduction to most of the characters. You're probably right, since the original program involved swinging from cable to cable, and this could be a logical increase in difficulty.
