Another predictable title, and a little out of season.
This time I wanted to draw an owl (Barn Owls are my favourite) with a golden moon in the background, the ears of wheat were added to lighten the picture.
Drawn on thick black card using Gold markers, white gel pen; also white, gold, green-gold and grey coloured pencils. I'm really pleased with the over-all effect.
I'm really enjoying drawing birds, they're so beautiful.

I liked seeing it with my own eyes better. The scanner really doesn't capture the richness of the tones. It's most awesome, possibly even more so than the Raven picture earlier. You really ought to frame those two, but I suppose you're still puzzled about why I love these two so. ^^ They just speak to me, somehow.
