It's been a minute! I drew this back in July, actually. I sporadically remembered and felt bad about forgetting a character I am/was fond of, so I spent most of the day messily whipping up a top-of-my-head reinvention of this little bastard. Drawn in SAI, with a texture borrowed from Google Images for his hat. I didn't quite finish the toes, but, it is what it is!

He's still bald from burning his hair repeatedly, though.

In any case, I suppose this is Moki reborn! He's a little older; a little wiser; a little less horrifyingly bland and grey and monochrome. What was I thinking at the time? Sheesh. I did my best to load him up with details that aren't too complicated. A tunic and cloak with some lunar clasps and some iconography; the clasp on his chest is like an upside-down black mage hat symbol, blustering about.

His staff has been reforged as something a little more emblematic of his enlightened outlook; mended and littered with bits of Buddhist iconography, with familiar Tibetan bell and vajra symbols on top. Something like that, anyway.

Some of his body hair has grown back, and after a bit of maturity and completely meaningless self indulgence, Moki retains his status as an active member of Clan Howler. His slow mind had grown into something a little more 'lazy;' still slow, but a lot less "stupid;" he's still prone to mischief and particularly freaky indulgences, but now it's more of a wry "Oh, boy. Here we go again~!" sort of reaction.

He's a bit more in control of his powers as well, but not by much; he's still prone to accidentally overdoing it or producing lackluster results. Think of it like a game statistic; his 40% chance of failure has lowered to 20%, if not more so. Good for him!

Moki can be found spending his off time either indulging in his perversions or sleeping the day away somewhere warm and breezy.
