I did this a while ago when I was infuriated with my Stepdad - he acts nice and sweet but I know he influences my mother to choose not for the welfare of myself and for my friends, even my mate.
I'll tell you what though - he's not as innocent as he seems.
Though at times we get on.
1. He slammed my arm into a door when I was 14, thinking he could dominate me and my privacy - nearly breaking my arm.
2. He's backed me into a corner, stared me down and threatened me when I was 17...
3...now i'm older...I don't take shit from him anymore.
4...never again.

Thats how my dad is.
Controlling and when he's not in control he just threatens and threatens.
He's the main income for our family and he's cut my mom off more than once.
At my graduation in 2008 party thinger he got wasted... totally blitzed and I had a faceoff with him and I swear by my heart and soul that the look in his eyes when I told him to get the F--out of the garage - if he'd been sober he'd have slammed me into the wall.
But I stood up to him and now my mom is doing the same and he's feeling defenseless.
And now they're getting divorced... its been long coming. >>
Life sucks sometimes.
