"Ever since her time in the Silverscale Arena, Loona had something of an epiphany. Muscular hunky guys were great and all...but wasn't that as shallow, just as Vortex made VERY clear to her when he blew up at the goth? So, she took to online dating again, being far more picky in her replies. One conversation between her and some guy from another universe (the Nickelodeon one, to be specific) kind of went on longer than she thought, the sincerity in this guy's texts giving her some confidence in at least ONE blind date. Just to see where things went, that is.
What she didn't expect was not only for him to be some kind of mutant sponge, but for him to be dorky in all the right ways. A somewhat ridiculous voice? It grew on her. Always seeing the bright side of everything? Surprisingly not as obnoxious as she would think. Unfailingly kind, no matter how many times her abrasive attitude showed up? Perplexing, but it was growing on her even faster.
All that, and he was an amazing cook. It had been a while since the Hellhound genuinely smiled during a date, especially with somebody many would consider "dating outside of his league". Either way, the start of one of the healthiest relationships she had thus far had begun...bizarre as it was."
