Large, chubby and oh so warm, these little blubber nuggets hide away under the snow (or in someone’s house like large water bottles) waiting for food and hiding from anything wanting to take advantage of their general uselessness and immobility. When their parents return, they poke their noses out of the snow and wait for food, the dark markings helping them to be found in the white powder. Parents are able to tell their hidden pups apart by the texture and pattern of their nose markings, which are as individual as thumbprints.
