Oh crap, I almost forgot I made these.

I spent a good deal of last week sewing (in case you've forgotten, I hand sew, the machines frighten me) so I could get them done in time for when I went with my mom to visit her family.

The tail is made from three equal pattern pieces, and the paws are simply one of those "put hand on paper, trace, add seam allowance" type things. I actually OBSESSED over getting the tail pattern right. I sketched it out on graph paper, shrank it, and had to make a freaking paper mock-up before finally deciding it was what I wanted. I'll post pics of that crap in my scraps if anyone wants to see.

I tried to think the tail attachment through a bit better this time so I wouldn't have to ductape it to my ASS every time I wanted to wear the thing. I decided on butchering a pair of my underwear. It's ugly as hell, which is why I shoved it under the tail in this pic, but works really well with my awesome pants (i.e., my old crappy black pants that have the rat-chewed holes sewn together with lime green thread).

Background is my new faggoty pastel rainbow fabric because it makes me smile.
