So this chapter was originally just going to be a small thing of just "Anyol runs and hides somewhere" and then decided to make a callback to a previous episode that also further expands upon Anyol's character and why most don't like him. And then decided that Mige probably would crash it and Mige being there and being introduced to Anyol makes Anyol's whole story arc for the season just slide smoothly into place. But then ran into the issue of "Uh, how do I exit this chapter now? They're just staring at each other awkwardly." And then went with a "look, an obvious distraction! *flees*" trope and was then able to introduce the concept of Whitespace users now so that when you start seeing them show up late season two and beyond, it's not something strange out of the blue as it was something already foreshadowed.
