Another try at digital painting. This time a new pose...something more relaxing. I realised that most of what I draw..tends to be quite similar. Time for a change! A new pose, means new challenges. I can't tell you how happy I am with the pose and the colors I was able to apply to this one. Lighting for this one, in my eyes, couldn't be better! While it didn't turn out EXACTLY like I first imagined, I'm still very happy with the outcome.
I find that using reference photos helps immensly, so I shall recomend this to all my fellow artists. No matter how good you think you've gotten a creature's anatomy memorized...look it up. Look at photos, it helps with poses, anatomy, possitioning, and persepective. I wouldn't be where I am today without reference. :3
