I know very few here are interested in art with just humans, but I wanted to post this anyway.
This is some long overdue Witcher 2/3 fanart, not of a character in particular, but of an ARMOR! The Nilfgaardian armor from those games is, in my opinion, one of the most gorgeous fantasy armor designs ever. It's functional and realistic, while being not entirely based on original museum pieces, and really has a unique and sistinctive style to it.
However, I made a couple small changes from the original design, mainly adding some protection to the thigh area.
This was painted with watercolor and tempera on a pencil sketch, for the record.

Is it just me or did the third game (the only one I played), not do a very good job of making the Nilfgaardians out to be the bad guys, despite people acting like their invasion has to be fought? Oh sure, they're arrogant conquerors, but compared to Radovid, the Church of the Eternal Flame, and the petty and cruel northern lords whose ill deeds you see evidence of left and right everywhere you go, Nilfgaard comes across as the lesser evil by a long shot, lol
Iirc, that was an intentional storytelling move - they did the full-on Nazi waltz in the books, and it was a disaster for pretty-much everybody on every side. By the time of the third game, years later, they've switched tactics to a "hearts and minds" approach. They're still extremely harsh if you break their laws, but as long as you play ball, they genuinely are bringing peace and stability to the regions they're invading.
(Of course, it's peace and stability from a chaos that they started, so it's still pretty grey.)

Not really a gamer, so I can't comment on the "Witcher" angle, but this suit looks to have a good balance of protection and mobility... I've seen some museum pieces that didn't look like the wearer would be able to even turn his head or see, much less fight!🤔 (and more humans just mean our adorably clueless new simp-bait, Lof, has a better chance of snagging one of his very own!😋🥰😅)
You always draw such incredibly detailed armor and furniture/decor, and I've appreciated that regardless of who is in the scene. And, I think, humans are an integral part of your world/lore, so it'd make sense for them to be depicted alone, without anthros. Don't get me wrong, I'll admit I prefer seeing Nur and/or Lof, but I feel like I still like your works in general.
"Dusk of a Northern Kingdom" starts playing in my head. ;)
That said, this is a sweet piece, regardless of its lack of furry content. XD
Although, what sort of animal(s) would you assign to the Nilfgaardians in your head, if you were to "furryize" the Witcher setting?
Given your felid inclinations, as well as the sort of vibes they give off regarding pride and such, I suppose I could imagine them as being lions. Or perhaps black panthers given the nation's colors, though that might be poor contrast for the armor and stuff. XD
Anyways, I'm blabbing. Good work, and I look forward to seeing your future stuff, again. :D
