Style Journal (10/2020) - Letting Go (Pt. 1)
(Finally getting around to uploading some old artwork of mine!)
Letting Go <<< PREV | FIRST | NEXT >>>
At this point I was getting really tired of how my art style was developing. It felt like it wasn't "progressing", or that my skills were improving at all. I would switch styles so often because I was just so critical of my own art I felt like I had to "get away" and do a different style every time. So I decided to just f it all and go wild. I just stopped caring about getting things like color or composition or form "right" and just went for it. Honestly, I think it led to some of the most interesting paintings I've done. Funny how the best works come from the lowest points in life.
