Because Chalo and SoulKat aren't going to end the comic they've worked on and gotten people invested in for better or worse for almost 20 years with "and then everyone died", especially not when his precious Mary Moo and SoulKat's self-insert are among that "everyone". You're literal only "proof" to back up this belief of yours is Geecku wearing an outfit given to her by Sarah and Chalo making her speech bubbles look different. "Las Lindas was decimated and everyone's dead, that's the only reason Geecku could be wearing Sarah's old outfit and speaking in stylized text bubbles" is such a ridiculous, fuckin' weird conclusion to immediately jump to.

There kinda hasn't been. We had one death fakeout ages ago. And nothing that's happened has been "literally everyone dies and the farm is obliterated" levels of tragedy, dude. Seriously, why, WHY are you this convinced that that's how the comic is going to end and that's the only reason Geecku could ever be away from the farm or wearing something already given to her that Sarah no longer wears? Especially when we were already told long ago that Knighthood and Las Lindas will overlap at some point?

Oh, I’ll know they’ll overlap. A lot can happen in the timespan between the two comics’ points in time. We could be brought up to speed with a “Some Time Later” or a “Back Then” with either a main or support character’s narration explaining the events that took place in the interim. Don’t forget Mora’s mother died alone of illness while her daughter snuck into a supposedly high security hospital to witness her father hooked up to an unsettling device. Plot threads like that have a way of tying up certain people in knots.

That's not what two stories' events overlapping means. It literally means that at some point they take place at the same time. And whatever you're on about now still doesn't change that the chances of Las Lindas ending with everyone's horrible death are exactly zero.
