This artwork was designed and made by MegaLinx, who you can find on DeviantArt (https://www.deviantart.com/megalinx), who did an amazing job on not just one, but two character's. Thank you for this awesome work.
This time, we don't have one woman, but in fact two sisters in this artwork. They are part of ancient, immensely cosmic being (either call Genies or Djinn's in different cultures) who's very presence and true form could not be seen or interact within the mortal world due to their indescribable power's to warp reality itself. It is then believe in the early dawn of the world, that either a small band of powerful mage's, or perhaps even one among in the attempt to usurp the position as the only being with unlimited power's, bind these incorporeal entities into our existence, trapping them in special vessel's such as a golden oil lamp's or glass bottle's. Although their power's aren't reduce in any regards, they are limited to only using said power by those who wield their vessel's and to do nothing more expect obey their "master" command, thus needing also a humanoid form to interact with mortals. Some, if not most, found this to be immensely shameful and embarrassing to be reduced to being slaves, to which they either twisting a person simple wish to get a sense of satisfaction in their suffering, or even few trying to reason with their master's to help free them from their bound with their vessel's.
However, there in fact a rare few among the Djinn's that were too willful or powerful to even be properly bound to a vessel, and instead create unforeseen side effect in these special items. Two such items, a set of wooden, carved mask with one adored with a large sapphire, and the other with two rubies, housing the twin sister Ladru the Grinning Gale and Atarah the Quake Breaker. The two, along with few other, are instead bound into either armor, weapons or even other unusual items, such as the mask, to which grant unexpected effect and abilities not found from the the common vessels. Most weapon's and armor's grant the wielder complete control of the Djinn's power, thus give them all kind of abilities such as supernatural durability, super-strength, foresight or elemental prosperities. However, the mask's function more of a curse than a blessing, for once place of the face of said user, the Djinn instead gain full control on their body, thereby allowing them to then transmutate the body to match their desire. The mind of the human is absorb into the mind of the Djinn, giving them access to their host memories, while they are able to use their immense powers without being bound by the rule of the "Servant and Master", as the servant has usurped the master body.
The first of the twins is Ladru the Grinning Gale, who is the master trickster and ruler of the wind. This short-stack woman, adored in a royal belly dancer outfit, may seem sweet and alluring by her height and figures, yet her extra limbs of arms, third eye and serpentine tongue would easy alarm those who look upon her; yet it is her wicked, shark-like grin that should have already been the omen of trouble coming your way. Though not pure evil in the term, the desire of pranking, tricky or humiliating her prey is almost like a second nature to Ladru, grinning ever wider each time she plays with her target as thought a cat would play with a cornered mice. Beside be twisted sense of humor, she is a master of all form of magic from the manipulate of the weather (such as her element), to creating illusion, transforming one object into another form or any other type of magic she desire so long as it amused her.
The other sister, Atarah the Quake Breaker, is almost like the exact opposite to Ladru in both height, fitness and even personality, especially being the one to bring forth the tremor and volcanic eruption. Her stoic face never leave her expression, and though she doesn't often even said a word as long as a sentence or two, her words carry only truth and never back down to a challenge by anyone. It is also a challenge for her to rein in her sister Ladru, as despite the two are quite powerful in their own way, it is more to prevent disaster to befall on mortal kind by her sister mischief's. Though she too possess magic of her own, they are more use in battle or dangerous situation, either to create earthquake, to shape the very earth to her will, or to even bring forth molten lava from her hair. Even her own body is a weapon, such as her skin being as hard as stone and a mere touch of her could melt down steal in seconds.
This has happen a few time when their mask's are place on a human vessel, to which create worldwide events in the planet history, such as snow in the summer, sudden volcanic eruption from a sleeping volcano's or even one bizarre day when people were sleepwalking and acting like children. A course, eventually one way or another, the mask's that were place on the vessel is soon remove and the Djinn's revert to being mask's again. Yet no matter how one tries to hide them or bury them away, someone foolishly find these mask's and soon temp people to try to wear them and see if they can get a wish of their own...
