Captured, chained, and stripped of her psionic enhancing regalia, Jade is forced to use her physical might to overcome this adversity. But even without powers, the strength of an elephant is not so easily contained. Her iron binds soften with each grunting, heaving pull she plies against them, rapidly weakening and buckling under her mammoth efforts until but one shackle remains holding back her foot.
She strains, and the anchor plate bows from the wall, rivets atremble. She strains again, and a loop cracks. Jade groans, and the restraint groans in kind, both adversaries locked in quivering stalemate. Her bondage is slowly failing, but stamina dwindles, and time grows short.
