The Ryfelwr is and ancient Welsh draft breed, know to have been created by the first settlers of the country.
With a typical height of 16 to 19 hands and a weight of 1,250 to 1,700 pounds (567 to 771 kg).
They are well known for their well rounded ness and size.
With the word Ryfelwr (Ruh-vel-oo-r) translating to warrior in English, it has proven themselves to be fitting to the name.
With their incredibly loyal bond to their owners, they would be heavily used in not only farming, but in battle.
There are documented instances where they have be seen sacrificing themselves, to save their rider.
There are no limits on the colours and markings that the Ryfelwr can be seen with, but with their most common being their rich bay.
