Well, she is Mysha's Mother, we decided that we wanted to finally give a face to the woman that caused a lot of Mysha's emotional issues. While she's not the only culprit in that field, she was a big contributor.
Mysha's family is actually pretty wealthy, but they care greatly about appearances and status and when Mysha didn't fit into the mould that was expected she was belittled for it. Things got worse when Mysha's breasts started to develop, she felt jealousy towards her own daughter and her vindictiveness surged to higher heights, which all eventually led up Mysha's being on her own.
Personality wise, the best way I have to describe what we had in mind for her is think of a cross of Beverly Hofstadter and Odalia Blight.
We're not sure if we'll do more with her or not. Not entirely sure on a name for her yet either, though Gherta is one that we're considering.
