You have a good start with this picture. Assuming your subject was the cigarette tray, then my suggestion is that if you do this picture again that you focus entirely on the cigarette tray and ensure that you do not get any other objects, such as the plate to the right, in the picture. Also, you should do your best to try to get the entire cigarette tray in the picture and perhaps take your photograph from above slightly so that you can get some of the used cigarettes in the study, too.

If this means anything, I like how you managed to capture a bunch of shades of browns in this picture which looks very neat. You definitely have talent, and you should experiment with different subjects to get a feel for your camera and angles.
