This was a junker when picked up through Hunter's Lodge over a quarter century ago. A Spanish bolt-action carbine of 9mm Largo. My brothers Tig-welded the cocking piece so the safety would engage. Cobbled together some loads using salvaged .38 ACP brass and cast bullets. Front sight blade had to be drifted way out to one side to zero the gun. This became my "work" gun as it protected me while I was out tending the wastewater lagoons alone. Actually saved my hide on at least one instance when trespassers sought permission from me to access the Cass River on company grounds. They became belligerent when they failed to get the desired answer.

Ouch, my guess is that bolts are hard to come by for these rifles which wouldn't be a good purchase for someone like me. Then again 9mm largo isn't easy to find ether so the ammo would most likely would have to be handloaded with the cases made from more readily available brass.
