Flow-stone Falls

Spelunkers are normally the only folks who get to see this sort of thing. But Alum Rock Park in San Jose, CA, has lots of mineral springs that bubble right up to the surface. This delightful "waterfall" of stone flows into the stream that runs through the middle of the park. All the minerals in the spring give the play of color to the deposits of stone left behind.
Lovely to look at, but it does smell a bit of sulfur there.
