This is something I like to do from time to time, I close my eyes, make some lines, look at it for a second, then close my eyes again and draw some more lines. I repeat this like 3 or 4 times, then from those lines I finish the picture with darker lines and fill in the whole thing. Other example of when I've done this before are:

Very cool, great use of shadowing. So, is the menacing figure in the background possessing the smaller one or is it a figure of it's imagination? On one hand it kinda looks like a demon, on the other hand the smaller figure looks like it might be wearing patient clothes, like it had escaped from a mental hospital or something. Ambiguous but cool.
