Been doing this for 10+ years with great success! I originally did this to keep in contact with college professors so they would write me reference letters for graduate school, but I just kept doing it! I have since used these contacts to get job referrals, an idea for compensation when looking at job prospects, and help with wacky IO technical questions or projects. Plus it is great to have friends 🌈 ✨ 🦄
