Reported a few months back, Cryptid #008381 has been sighted around local farmlands, devouring the feral farm animals and destroying property around the area. While sighting indicates of only one cryptid in the area, several farms spanning great distances have had sightings of the creature, which has made capture a little difficult as the creature does not seem to have a pattern on where it attacks, what animal it goes for, and where its nest might be located. Farmhands who have seen the creature in question have named the cryptid as the "Winged Worm Devil", as they've described it as "a long, feral worm like creature with 6 arms, a large head, and a mouth with knife-like teeth on its chest, and wings so strong it can knock down trees with one flap!". Field teams have yet to confirm the latter claim, but photographic evidence has confirmed its description.

Conventional weaponry has some effect on the creature in question, but as discovered its blood is quite acidic, and can burn through most synthetic material. Capture might prove to be difficult, but C.O. Paxtor Leif has assured me that the team can handle it. The R&D team has outfitted the Shadows with high powered tranq guns to aid in capture, and more lethal options should public safety become a threat. C.O. Leif has informed the PICC of a stake out later tonight, so further information will be obtained soon. Until then, we have to trust C.O. Leif and his team in the containment or neautralization of the Cryptid, and I do hope he manages to take it down. We need to know more about this beast as soon as possible, before panic levels begin to rise, or more start to appear.
