The genesis of this composition came about when I was messing about with my old version of the Korg Wavestation plugin on my computer. As I leafed through the presets, I found some that I really liked, and took note of them, creating the rhythm first and then adding different synth sounds along the way. Finally, I added the DigitalNativeDance preset from the Roland D50, the Orch5 sample from the Fairlight CMI IIx sampling computer, and a very basic unison synth bass sound from OB-Xd, a freeware emulation of the Oberheim OB-X, OB-Xa, and OB-8 synthesizers.
