At this stage, Bu and Kee began to develop their own distinct personalities and their parents tried to customize their clothes to better reflect this.

Jane was adamant that the twins needed to master shapeshifting before they could go to school with other children without drawing unwanted attention to themselves. The twins were mostly successful except for the fact that they still had two heads, so they worked out a system where they would take turns, where one twins would suck his head inside their body like a turtle and they’d take turns being in control.

Of course this came with its own issues as half the time, the kids saw that their classmate was a jock/mischievous prankster and the other times he was quiet shy nerdy kid. So ultimately the twins didn’t end up making too many friends at school but they at least still had each other.

Bu and Kee’s known abilities include:

From Jane Doe’s side:
Shapeshifting
Flight
Energy beams
Ability to erase memories

From Bucky’s side:
Toon physiology/physics
Near imperviousness to lasting damage
Access to hammerspace (the ability to pull out objects from behind)

Unique to the twins:
Bu: Empath (ability to read emotions, but cannot hear the words behind them)
Kee: Telepath (ability to hear thoughts, but cannot sense the emotions behind them)
