These are embroidery test patterns. They've come a long way since the first ones I tried! I'm now using a stabilizer fabric behind the two layers of muslin and it's helping a huge amount. I'm working with the software to adjust the pull compensation and some other little things here and there, but so far it's turning out well! My favorite is Bent-tail (center). Ciro (right) needs the most work; mainly adjustments due to overcompensation. Gerret (left) is also quite good; using different types of stitches at different angles gives different results, and that's mainly what I'm working on.

The software kinda converts to vector, there's some differences in embroidery due to the way the software interprets lines. You can import from EPS vector, though I haven't tried yet. It's different designing for embroidery because a line can be just a plain thin line, or it can be an entire outline, so you kinda have to work the designs to account for that. It's definitely different than vectorizing for vinyl cutting, that's for sure.
