If it's a "life-or-death situation", there've not been very many of those in any of BabyStar's comics... I think this is more a "likely to be painful to at least one person situation".
We also get to find out (maybe) whether the hypnosis at CTN is "magic" or more "realistic" in that most actually tranced people come out of it when something truly dangerous is happening.
