In meatspace I get hit on by regular fellas n I don't even get misgendered after my license is seen. And no, I don't live out west, I live in Kentucky.
Online, where I'm even more upfront about who n what I am I get them'd constantly by my own fans even with both my massive rabbet tits right in front of em. 🙃
Like c'mon, at least he/him tickles my degradation kink. they/them just makes me feel like I ain't bein clear enough. Like, I already make it really fuckin obvious. What more do I gotta do???? :Y

I've got a pronoun joke as well.
How do samurais kill non-binary people?
They/Them
But in all due's seriousness, I'm sorry for this misgendering problem you've been having.
Different problem, but on occasions I'll misgender myself and part of my just wails in agony inside even if no one noticed.

While I do default to they/them with people I don't know, I do try to at least check if they have their pronouns listed somewhere.
Or, you know, are very obvious about what their pronouns otherwise would be.
Either way, yes, I've noticed that people will just go out of their way to they/them a trans woman and avoid using they/them for nonbinary people. >_>
Though that does remind me of the time someone intentionally misgendered me, but guessed wrong as to what my AGAB was. That was funny.
