Greetings Everyone!
Here's a concept art that I recently commissioned from
Dolphiana with some edits and assistance from the other three artists:
Seyumei (Henzy) (Trent-Rommel).
Here's a link to Dolphy's main DA page: https://www.deviantart.com/dolphydolphiana
This image depicts Brack exchanging salvage gathered in the "Yellow Zone" for critical supplies from one of the many Soldien "Cooperatives".
The Soldien "Cooperatives" usually perform two functions. The first being the exchange of basic resources (food/water/metals/wood) in exchange for other resources (again food/water/metals/wood) once it's been measured/inspected and assured of it's quality. The second function is that "Cooperative" members can usually work at the sites in exchange for food/shelter/water/education/licensing or other services.
Essentially these serve as hubs where common people can make exchanges of materials for necessities (or vice versa) or have their basic needs taken care of in exchange for work.
The Soldiens typically operate these "Cooperatives" as a way to provide basic infrastructure to colonies, and as a way to spread their ideology (which is more group focused, over the individual focused Volterran one).
In practice most citizens of Korsun will exchange the salvage they obtained (legally or not) for "resource stamps", or Cooperative issued stamps with the resource value of each commodity printed on them, which can then be exchanged at "Cooperatives" for that resource, or the equivalent value of other things "Cooperatives" provide (again food/water/services/shelter, etc).
Other institutions will often accept resource stamps and provide things the "Cooperatives" do not, such as ammunition or fuel. Hence the "Salvage for Resources" trade tends to form the foundation of the economy on Korsun.
Dolphy did a wonderful job with the characters and background as always; the other artists helped with certain things like the look of the props/buildings as well as assisting with details/proportions/shading etc. I'd say the process is going really well and I'm thankful to have such talented artists working with me, who can all help contribute to make each concept art look as good as it can.
We have about two more concept arts we might be able to finish before we take a break for the holidays. Though once we get to December 15th or so, we'll be stopping until January.
As always, let me know what you guys think of the image, what can be used to improve future concept arts, and if there are any areas for possible improvement.
Thanks everyone! Hope you like the concept art!

Thanks, glad you like the design.
I think in his bio I wrote that he was 153, the reason for that being that all the Dragons in Nomads of Korsun are genetically engineered.
---> (That's why they have the strange looking eyes).
Let me know if you have any other questions.
