It's an interesting design, though I think it's unfavorable unless the animal is of a large size. The advantage of having the legs in a lateral position is that it allows climbing. Having the legs in a ventral position, as in your design, allows more weight to be supported, but loses the advantages of those small hiding scalies.

Thank you! I'll keep that in mind when working on climbing & gliding wyverns. Yeah, the ventral position is meant to support the weight. It's a medium/large herbivore, about 60-70 cm at the withers. It doesn't have many predators - the long tail also isn't optimal for running.

I think so far I don't have any very small draconids, these niches are mostly already taken by other reptiles and "mammals".
