Dragon was captured in 2004 from Klamath Falls Oregon. She had been working as a locomotive engineer's apprentice. Like many other dragons of the 2nd gens, she had been raised by humans and was unaware she was a dragon. She was arrested under false suspicion of drugs and brought to Site Y. D-099 is dismissive and curt with staff despite being employed as an entry level cleaner. She was officially employed by the Organization in 2005 and has since done satisfactory work. After two weeks of working, D-099 modified her body, stating it would make her job easier. She is now completely made of a dense rubber compound that is fire proof, acid proof, water proof, and radiation proof, making her ideal for hazardous clean ups in dangerous environments. D-099 is allowed free access to Site Y as her job requires. She is granted normal accommodations in the housing wing of Site Y and is paid fair wages for her position.

Site Y has been fighting boredom since the start. Boredom is the one thing that will drive dragons to action more than anything. Often times, that action is escape or protests, but much progress has been made in recent years to keep dragons entertained. For some it's work opportunities at the site, for others it's other pursuits.
