My trade with skinned_studio came! And I couldn't be happier!! I'm posting this here to document her old design and pay homage to the previous creator.
This creature is a Strixat ( closed species created by secretchickenart ) I remember when I was a poor collage student how much I wanted to order a base from her. When is baby came up for sale/trade I hopped on it as quick as I could. I have NEVER seen a Strixat come up and I am over the moon to have one in such good condition.
Strixats are the embodiment of an element/ concept. I believe this one may have been rot. While I appreciate the original artist's direction and interpretation ( If anyone has any info on the previous maker , please let me know, I think it may have been Birbicorn / Caution Creatures ) I will be changing her design to fit my own style better.
Changes planned:
- Removal of paint
- Replace fur
- Change of design
- Addition of a comb or horns
- I do however like the eves very much, and I will attempt to salvage what I can.
