Spyro was my biggest influence when it comes to cartoony antics, and more specifically flattening! I loved to just position him right in front of the big enemies to see him get repeatedly squished flat. Again and again, until he could no longer take it, flipping over belly side up, and floating down like the piece of paper he became!
