A station ID bumper from 1987 for KAUT TV 43 Oklahoma City. This station ID bumper features an image of the Stage Center, formerly known as the Oklahoma Theater Center, and Mummers Theater. A controversial Oklahoma City Landmark for many years, which was eventually torn down in 2014.
My digitized video of this station bumper can be found at https://youtu.be/vAhsuI8jGks

Technically I think this kind of thing is better suited for somewhere like Tumblr.. since this is, after all, really an art gallery site, implying that at least in some way the uploader had a hand in creating what they've uploaded.
If you'd like a fellow analog video nerd's opinion, this is a great place to do some titler/graphic stuff of your own to post!
Or y'know, whatever!

While I am obviously not the original creator of the station ID, I am however the person who processed, digitized, edited, and uploaded the station ID from a VHS recording of it's live broadcast. I know it's an odd medium to have a passion for, but it is something that I am passionate about and want to share with people. :)
I apologize, I wasn't trying to be patronizing. :) Tone doesn't really translate well through text. I have been an FA user since 2006, I personally view this site moreso these days as not a site solely for furry visual art, but a social media site for all furries to share their hobbies and passions. Whether that be various forms of art, music, photography, videography, and the like. I am just sharing my hobby. :)
Fur Affinity isn't social media. Its a gallery. It always has been a gallery. The website you are looking for if that's what you want to get out of it is Tumblr. I understand your position, but this is definitely not the correct site for that use case and "social media" is definitely not what this site is. Its more like the actually good internet (before social media gentrified so much of the net and ruined it) where everyone has their web page "island" that they do what they want on, and sometimes others visit and network based on interests. There's no such thing as "viral" here. There's no news. We speak in codes and we don't want to be standardized or "marketable".
All of that soapbox hill-i-die-on stuff out of the way, and with your goals in mind and desire to stay here, my suggestion is to make the conversion into an interest group. Have others "join" by watching and adding the icon to their profiles. That was big a while ago, but makes periodic revivals as people decide to maintain them. Some aren't so active anymore, but there's an entire page called "FA-Groups" which has more information. I run one of those for Cadillac car enthusiasts. Check my journal footer for some examples. I'd be glad to be the first member & put the icon with my other groups!
