Well, as Kartonis said, it's a very excellent expression on her face... and there's that one last hand just before it disappears. Very nice indeed.

I love the peril of this situation, and the strong emotions involved. Many other artists plop characters in the mud, and their faces just look complacent, even bored at their predicament. You, on the other paw, don't pull any punches, and I admire that.

Q: If a kitty screams in an otherwise-empty mudpit and nobody is around to hear her, does she make a sound?
