Okay! A proper introduction to the character I previously showed in this image.
This is Broom, a Syr'l from Keshly'm and one of the two friends Copper managed to save from the Keinai after being abducted. He's a pretty happy-go-lucky fellow with a love for the old medium of video games, enough to co-found a club known as the IntEnt Group (short for "Interactive Entertainment"). They want to spread the popularity of the medium by translating centuries-old Earth games and making new consoles to play them. But Broom has even been making one or two games of his own, such as the Pong-like vector game on display here called "Kickback." He wants to make his next game worth sharing to the masses -- a title named "Wally-Weely" featuring the very entity shown silhouetted on his tanktop.
Broom loves games so much he can't help but gush about them...even though Copper doesn't really understand half of what he's talking about. But Broom wants to share his gaming love with his new friend and fellow Abductee, so he occasionally brings some of his old-school projects to show Copper what they're about...and Copper's starting to get hooked!
Beyond that, though, Broom has gotten a deep understanding of Copper through an ability called Clarity...even realizing some of Copper's secrets! But he's a trustworthy guy, and he really wants his rescuer to feel comfortable around him despite his own odd quirks. Through that same Clarity, Copper was able to tell Broom was a friend, even though he couldn't pick up as much info on the Syr'l. In any case, they certainly seem to get along very well. A bit of a good outcome from a miserable and scary incident.
