bit of a story with this one. this was a sketch page commission for esics on tumblr, really lovely person, great client. they commissioned me for a sketch page and tipped me more than i have ever been tipped before. so i wanted to make her sketch page really special. i put a lot of effort into shading it and adding details to the background. this then became the "standard" level of quality people came to expect from me for sketch pages, which meant i could raise the prices to something more worth my time.
